Bucking the trend of strong residential development, this urban office adaptive reuse project celebrates the industrial structural components of this beautiful urban gem in the heart of Baltimore Maryland’s hottest neighborhood near the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Employees working at this site will enjoy the convenient location that is within two blocks of literally dozens of restaurants, shops, a health club, and a newly built parking garage. After considering the possibility of a tear down and new build strategy, the UrbanEx design team decided to reuse the existing structure which includes a 2nd floor mezzanine that looks down into what will become an open office environment.
